Refugees Settlement
Our Refugees Settlement Program is a national program supported by many amazing volunteers, partner organizations and local communities.
We helped over hundred refugees during fall of Afghanistan in August 2021.
We offer refugees a safe and welcoming introduction to their new life in Australia.
Through this program we assists refugees on their arrival with basic needs of foods, clothes, children items women sanitary items , gift vouchers as well as mental health consultations and support of sisterhood.
We work with newly-arrived migrants to build on their strengths and support their needs.
This includes:
-
assistance to become socially and financially independent
-
support to build client confidence through orientation programs
-
community connection with mainstream health, educational and accommodation services
-

Taliban ban girls from secondary education in Afghanistan!!!
In first regime of Taliban, before 2002, women were not allowed to work and even female teachers lost their jobs after the government at the time shuttered all schools for girls.
Demonstrations are in every corner of the street by nationals.
Taliban took their fake masks off and showing their brutal faces. Women are attacked and children are homeless.
Afghanistan is a flashback to the second world war. This is crisis against humanity. We have been left alone with no support from international communities.

It is important to extend my warmest appreciation to everyone’s contribution in form of time and energy towards making APF event a smashing success.
Our community greatly benefit from these types of large-scale activities, as it brings people together, allowing us to provide an atmosphere for creating a strong sense of humanity, ethic, community spirit and pride.
APF become an inspiration to many of our community newer organizations who we hope will one day take the torch of volunteerism and continue our efforts in the years to come.
