Skills Training, and Employment Forum

Afghan Peace Foundation was invited to attend the “Skills Training, and Employment Forum” hosted by Safe Map, supported by Blacktown City Council on Monday the 5th of September at Glenwood Community hub.

Our CEO Tahera Nassrat was honored to share the stage with many great guest speakers, from government and training institutions.

Jamie Pestchy - Sydney Greater Western Employment Facilitator from local jobs program and Business Australia, Mark Mallia- skills broker from NSW department of education Tahera Nassrat - Business coach and Business advisor- CEO of T & R Accountants/Afghan Peace Foundation Suresh Padmanabhan- CEO Reach for Training- RTO perspectives and skills shortage.

This was very effective forum as employers, RTO partners as well as government representatives were discussing the crises of employment market and on how to find solutions to the current dilemma.

We would like to thank Bhagya Chettipally the CEO of SafeMap for organizing such an effective forum to help the community, employers and as well as the refugees.
